Description

This module discusses the following topics: (1) Thermodynamics applied to changes of state, mixtures, and electrochemistry. (2) Chemical Kinetics, including chain reactions and the steady-state approximation (3) Quantum Mechanics, including basic principles and models applied to chemistry (4) Spectroscopy, including the basics of rotational and vibrational fine structure, and the application of spectroscopic techniques in Chemistry. (5) Quantum Chemistry, including the application of quantum mechanics to describe molecular electronic states. (6) Analytical methods in Chemistry.
